Is this token a honeypot?

Every token that trades against USDC on Arc is checked within minutes of its first trade.

Latest checks

New tokens are checked as they start trading, and again later while they keep trading.

How it works

A simulation against the live pool. Nothing is signed, sent or held.

Buy a little

A brand-new wallet buys the token with USDC through the Uniswap router, the same path your wallet takes.

Sell it all back

It sells everything it received right away, at a small size and a larger one, so a tax can be told apart from thin liquidity.

Show what came home

You see how much of each dollar made it back, what the pool charges, and whether the sell was refused.

Questions

What Honeycheck does, how fresh it is, and what it covers.

How often is it updated?

A scan runs every ten minutes. Every token that has started trading since the last scan is checked, and tokens are checked again an hour, six hours and a day later while they keep trading. A search always checks the chain right then.

Does it cover every token on Arc?

It covers every token with a USDC pool on Uniswap on Arc that has actually traded, and all of them have been checked. Most new tokens on Arc are pools nobody ever buys into; with no trades there is nothing to sell back, so those are not listed until someone trades them. The coverage card at the top shows the size of the record and how much of it could not be sold back.

What happens when I search a token?

Honeycheck runs the buy and sell simulation on the token's most traded pool right away and shows the result, usually in a second or two. A token that started trading in the last few minutes can be searched shortly after the next scan.

What does Liquidity pulled mean?

The pool traded, and then whoever provided its liquidity took it all out. The chain shows the trades and then the withdrawal. Anyone holding the token has nothing to sell into. This is the shape of a rug pull.

A token shows lots of sells. How can it be a honeypot?

Some pools keep a list of insider wallets that sell at full price while everyone else gets almost nothing back, and those insiders trade with each other to make the pool look busy. A brand-new wallet is not on anyone's list, so that is who Honeycheck tests as.

Does Sellable mean it will always sell?

No. A result is a reading at one moment. A token's owner or its pool's hook can change the rules after the check. Nothing here is advice.

Does it touch my wallet?

No. You never connect a wallet. Each check is a read-only simulation: nothing is signed, sent or held.

Where do token icons come from?

From GeckoTerminal, for tokens that have registered an image there. Most brand-new tokens have none, so they get a lettered badge instead.

Pool hooks, for builders

A hook is a contract that runs on every swap in the pools that use it. How the tokens behind each hook tested over the last day.
